Top Of The Rock

So you have arrived in NYC and you want to go straight to the top of the Empire State Building. That's not uncommon, the majority of people who visit NYC as a tourist will at some point of their journey go to the top of the Empire State Building, and I don't blame them. It's an amazing building, with amazing views.

However, it doesn't have the best views of the city from an observation deck. The best views from an observation deck would go to Top Of The Rock. Located at Rockefeller Center, The Top Of The Rock gives you views of the city, over 3 levels in every direction. What more could you want?

It's not surprising to me that Top Of The Rock has been voted #14 out of 821 attractions of New York City on Tripadvisor.

Top Of The Rock will cost you about $18 and I would suggest getting there as it opens if you can, that way you will have the entire place almost to yourself for about 30-40 minutes. What more could you want.

And With Top Of The Rock, you also get great views of The Empire State Building.

You get views from indoors and outdoors (from behind safety glass)
